Diane H. Blackwelder, CFP®
Diane began her career in the financial services industry in 1992, shortly before graduating from The College of Charleston. After 10 years of working in the full-service brokerage industry, Diane decided many of the clients she worked with would have benefited from a more holistic approach to their finances. In 2004, she completed Financial Planning Certificate Program with the College of Charleston and subsequently received authorization to use the CFP marks of distinction in February 2005.
In January 2005, Diane co-founded Atlantic Planning Partners, LLC, a fee-only financial planning firm located in Mount Pleasant. She is a member of the Garrett Planning Network, Inc., a nationwide network of Fee-Only advisors dedicated to making competent, objective financial advice accessible. In 2008, Diane obtained her Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designation and was a contributing author to Investing in an Uncertain Economy for Dummies.
Diane joined Charleston Financial Advisors, LLC in January 2009 as a financial planning professional. Diane lives in Mt. Pleasant with her husband and two young boys.
